finally updating my blog after so long.. haha

went thailand for pre season training tour.. and guess what.. i got my first international goal there!! woo! haha best of all.. i scored with my freaking head! ahaha its suppose to be my weakest attribute.. my club coach always ask me to improve it.. haha i was so delighted when i lobbed the ball over the keeper. =)

overall, i did enjoy the training there la.. the shopping was good too.. had much fun. the only down point was that i missed my family and my frens.. but i'm back already la. no more chilling in the hotel room, no studies to worry about..

we played 5 games in total. won 2, lost 3. not bad la. considering we played against some quality sides, apart from the last game.

what made me even happier was that my photo appeared in the thai local newspaper!! haha its quite a big section. haha the journalists were there to update on our games la and it so happen that the used my pic. think i'm gonna fame it up or something. hahaha

met up with sam lim at ps starbucks yesterday after i got back from school.

she needed to do an interview for her project stuff la.. so she interviewed me on soccer.. asked me a number of questions and some got me thinking so hard! haha she needed a pic of me so she took it on the spot.. how's the pic? haha =)

talked to her for about an hour plus before leaving for training at boon lay.

i wont be in town from 4th to 13th feb. i'll be going to thailand for pre-season training for the prime league and preparation for the asian youth championship. will be back for valentine's day though.. hahaha

no term test today.. i should be on my bed, sleeping and still in my dreams. but im right here in temasek poly's library, updating my blog because i got nothing else to do.

i travelled all the way from amk to tampines, hoping to end my term test but it seems that god still wants me to suffer for another day. or maybe he thinks that i haven studied enough so he's giving me an extra day to stuff even more things into my already 'gonna blow' brain.

at least i brought my text to study. i thought of studying only in the bus then when i reach sch, i'll shut the book and go for the test. i think its really fate la..

played against the young lions today. lost 2-1. but i was a wonderful effort from everyone la.. playing against a sleague team and losing by only one goal.. all hard work man!

finally, after 7 long years.. spore brought the tiger cup back!!

the lions really played their hearts out, nvm the english or nigerians.. i was really impressed with itimi dickson.. the pacy winger ran riot throughout the indonesian defence with ease.. aide was a rock in the spore's defence but was really unlucky to be sent off.

full marks to lewis, daniel, baihakki, aide, mani, s. ishak, hasrin, tat chuan, itimi, agu, indra, hassan, khairul, alam shah, rahman, i. zainol, s. jantan, imran, jaslee, tengku, ismail. there's no substitution to hard work. well done guys!

not forgetting the man who's behind all this.. raddy avramovic!!

went to school in the morning.

was taking bus 133 towards potong pasir then there was this malaysian(i think) lady who boarded the bus and sat beside me. she then asked me if she could borrow my phone to make a call!! haha sam, sounds familiar? haha experiencing the same thing as you did not long ago aye..

thought about what excuse to give her so that i dun have to lend her my phone for a second. couldnt come up with a good one la so i did lend my phone to her eventually. she was in the bus so i wasnt really that worried that she might just run away with my phone.

singapore won myanmar 4-2 in the second leg.. qualified for the tiger cup finals.. like finally man! haha it was practically like a freaking men mud fight!! haha especially towards the end of the game.. total of FOUR myanmar players got sent off.. indra could have prevented two of the red cards la.. if only he scored the penalty in the 90th min and settled the game..

the new year's coming!! 2 more days!

its been a fruitful year for me la, i guess.
- managed to captain smfc for the first time and lead them to winning games
- finishing top scorer for smfc
- got called up to the national team
- played my first of three international games this year

yea, but all this comes with a price la. less time to spend with my frens and all.. cant hang out that often anymore. still, im happy to be able to represent my nation. hmm.. at least all my efforts are not wasted. :)

i dun understand channel 5. they say they're not gonna show the nation's countdown and replace it with another show due to the tsunami disaster. seriously, what has it gotta do with tsunami?!? i do feel for the ppl who perish during the disaster and their family but i think there's no logic to this.

was suppose to use the field after our runs la. but the groundsman said that the field is closed for the next month. so ended up doing only runs!!

1km in 4mins. this is considered one set. we did a total of SIX sets.. yea, steam sia.. hahaha

MERRY X'MAS EVERYONE!

went down to town yesterday after my training at geylang. met up with the sin ming gang at heeren. then we walked from taka to far east. as usual la.. bloody crowded! they bought the spray stuff and soon enough, we all started spraying ppl.. esp chicks!! haha

we enjoyed ourselves even though we were also sprayed on. definitely one of the most enjoyable christmas la.. haha

im back after a short tour in kl. didnt see anything i like so came home empty-handed.

since we still consider ourselves as the nfa under-17 team, i should say that we played against croatia zargeb under-17 team. lost 3-1. could have drew them if not for some slack defending at corners and free kicks. i think the minimun entry height for the croatian team is 1.8m.. all of them so freaking tall and big! sm of them even look like fathers! (maybe they already are la.. haha). played 30mins of this game.

drew the malaysian national under-18 team 0-0. they are a year older than us but we were able to match them. desmond missed a great chance with the last attack of the game.. if not we would have won the causeway derby.

last game was against a malaysian national selection side. sundram fielded his reserve team(which includes me la. i played 85mins.) to give us a run-out.. lost to them 3-1. but was pleased that i won alot of freekicks and assisted the goal. only problem was i tried to turn while the defenders were closing down on me. should shield the ball instead.

thanks to macritchie, we were able to last all the games la. it was still tiring though.. enduring hard tackles and quick thinking.. a very good experience for me.. sundram said he's gonna drop players on friday. gosh, pray for me man!

raj told us that we will be having a kl tour from sat to mon. but only 25 out of 29 of us are going. although i dun wanna miss any more lessons, i really wanna be one of the 25 who will be boarding the bus on sat at jalan besar.

just got back from jalan besar gym. wasnt really tough as compared to the usual trainings we go through. yesterday's was at macritchie. all of us were hoping for it to rain. it did, but barely. so we still gotta go through the run. did the girls route.. TWICE.. finished it in 32mins.

1st of dec will be spore idol final showdown right? for me, its hell.. gonna have a bleep test on that day. thats not the scary part la. the worst thing is that raj said that even if we do level 10 or 11 for the test(which is my norm), we will be able to reach level 13 or 14 by the end of dec if we go for training.

gonna have trainings in the morning and evening.. best of all, we will be training on CHRISTMAS day.. god, save me!

jasper called me in the morning and told me he was gonna go down to the salon near my house for a hair cut.. met him after my shower. had chicken porridge, soya bean and agar-agar for lunch. haha didnt know wad to do so went down to sinming to meet tommy, kelvin, minghao, wei lun, thomas.

saw wilson at sinming. he went to 7-11 and get mashed potato then left with his frens. eugene, ryan and richard came afterwards. they were preparing for their last o level papers la. dnt.

went to kenny cafe(still in sinming) for lunch again! had minced pork noodle and teh peng for my second round! haha left after chilling for like a damn long time and accompanied jasper, kelvin, thomas and their fren to sinming court to play soccer.

left at bout 5 to go to yishun stadium for training. it wasnt raining for the first time! haha today's training was kinda relaxing la.. but still, got a headache now after the run.. not fully recovered yet la.

anyway, raj told us that we are going to the SOLOMON ISLANDS in january 3rd!!! woo-hoo!!! gonna stop at gold coast for a few days before taking another flight to the islands.. but, only bout 20 of the 35 of us can go.. so yea, serious hope im one of them on the plane! god, help me!!

anand scored a hat-trick today. hmm.. actually, we didnt finish the game la. we were leading 4-3 when a fight broke out after one of the vietnam players kicked out at our gk.. amos got angry and went to push him. then out of no where, other of their player came and whacked amos at the back of his head!! it almost turned out to be a free-for-all!

i hit back at one of their players on their head too. haha the fight stopped after a few more mins. the vietnam team then walked out of the game.. so offically, we won! haha

guess wad we had for warm-up.. complete 5 rounds(2km) in 8mins.. and we did it twice.. yes yes, its just the warm-up.. cool huh..

had possession play(again!) after that.. and every 10 passes we made the opposition has to run 1 'box-to-box'. its running from the top of the penalty box to the other and back.. thats ONE box-to-box..

sundram didnt really count the passes la. then we had to take sudden death penalties to decide. the first team to miss their penalty will have to run FIVE box-to-box.. luckily for us, everyone who took the penalties scored. then he decided to call it a day as it was rather late.. phew.. thank god.

played against saf(singapore armed forces) prime league team today at yishun stadium under very bad conditions. the field was freaking muddy.. i guess laetitia would have enjoyed playing today.. haha she just loves mud la..

started off the first half.. and shouted 'majula singapura!!' before the game.. its my first time la.. the first start for singapore. haha played as a lone striker today. but the coach decided to change to a 4-4-2 formation during the game. we attacked alot and were really unlucky to score only one goal in the first half. we dominated the whole of first half but didnt turn our possession into goals. finished the first half 2-1 down.

changed the whole team at half time couz of the large size of the team. we had bout 30 plus players. finished the game at 4-1. its the first lost for the spore under-17 team this season. but in all the competitive games, they have not lost a single game for this year yet.

talked to jasper a lil bit jus now. he bought a new phone. t610. haha jus when i wanna change my phone. he was suppose to start his blog too.. but he gave up la. couz he got lost with all the stuff. haha

its the second day of the week. and the second day my frens are working at my dad's place. they are doing quite well so far..

had training yesterday. one of the coaches, raj, said that they wanna win the prime league this year. hmm.. looks like they're dead serious bout it. the trainings they're dishing out are like preparing us for the olympics or smthing.. haha possible to finish first, gonna be tough though. gonna have a friendly match on friday. suppose to ask laetitia along but i still dunno whether i'm gonna feature in the game. lets see how it goes.. haha

got back my semestral exams today.. got B+(79-75) for engineering maths and B(74-70) for organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and mass and energy balance!! woo!! top 25% man!! haha real satisfied with my results!

jus got back home from training.. did cooper test today. we were suppose to complete 3.2km(8 rounds) in 12mins. completed only 2.815km.. real tired man!! argh.. then had possesion play after that.. even worst! gotta chase the ball whenever we lost it.. so u imagine la.. felt like hell man..

off day at work tmrw.. dunno whether going out or not.. most prob ar. not confirm yet.

just got back from my class' chalet.. reached aloha loyang at bout 8pm. got my form teacher to drive me in.. haha! reached there then one of my frens gotta leave. so we accompanied him to pasir ris mrt. before that, we went to fisherman village first. ate there and had burben coke. chilled and chatted a lil before going to the mrt station. from there, we took a taxi back into aloha. were to lazy to walk all the way in la. haha

played winning eleven after that. till bout 12am then watched channel u's guess.. wad a freaking waste of time man.. haha continued winning eleven then some of them went to make dumplings, some were playing chess/sleeping.. played till bout 230am then watched liverpool vs deportivo.. regretted watching man.. finished 0-0.. no goals.. many missed chances..

slept for bout 4 plus hours then gotta check out at bout 12. from 10 to 12, we played bridge.. learnt it jus today. kinda fun actually. smthing like hearts. headed down to tampines mall and played cs. haha yea, i noe.. cs.. old game.. haha

went for training after that.. rained a lil.. then sundram asked us to change into shoes and go for a run. we were suppose to run around yishun stadium. 10 laps, no timing. but he told us to try and finish it within 30mins. guess wad.. i did it in 29min 50secs!! hahaha not bad aye.. was bout the 15th to finish(out of 32). so kinda happy with myself. only thing it was really tiring la. still, i hope its worth it.. gonna have muscle aches tmrw man! haha

my class' chalet started today. didnt go. will be going only tmrw evening, after my gym session at jalan besar. can watch champions league with my frens! haha

third day of work. working at my dad's place at macpherson. left at 6pm on sunday then 5pm yesterday. today, left at 3pm! haha getting earlier and earlier each day.. haha got my second piercing on my ear yesterday, at far east. went to town with jasper and kelvin. were suppose to watch movie. then ended up walking around town looking at chicks! haha left work today and went to town again to meet up with jasper, kelvin, minghao and wei lun. hao and weilun went to get some stuff.. left soon to go to jalan besar stadium.

had some spore under-18 briefing there. talked abit then sundram said that he's gotta cut the squad from 35 to 25 players for his team next year. gave us a little bit of info of wad we are gonna have for next year. prime league, lion city cup(in spore), some cup(in croatia), afc under-20 qualifiers. there's some overseas tour in december too..

wanna play in all of them man.. but gotta fight for my place and get into the last 25. not impossible though. everyone's got a chance. gonna have alot of strength and fitness training to prepare for next year.

left jasper's house to sinming garden for soccer. basketball court. played for bout an hour plus. fitness dropped after not playing for like 5 days. but overall did well la. managed a few goals. the best part was when i did some cristiano ronaldo trick. the one where he backheels the ball to the side while dribbling and then continue. managed to beat two defenders with that trick jus now.. and i gotta learn this trick like only a one week ago!

didnt watch spore idol but heard david was booted out and everybody's 'fav' jerry is still in. tink it must be his parents and family ar.. help him text and call to vote for him. tink his phone bill for this month must be like a few thousand bucks la. haha

EXAMS OVER... finally!!!

two rather easy papers, two tough ones.. glad its all over.. have been waiting for this break for a long long time. went to town with my classmates today after the last paper. went to catch a movie. then saw terence, who was working at cine.

watched the same movie as siling and amanda. real suprised to see them. walked around town after the movie then went to meet up with jasper who was at ps.he was with his neighbour and his neighbour's best fren. his neighbour, shazz wanted to get a new phone. went to cuppage later to get the new motorola one.. dunno wats the model but its the one where they advertise with sm bollywood actors on the bus and on the train.

nice chaps i met today. real friendly, fun and easy to talk to. anyway, gonna stay over at jasper's place today. first day of my holidays and i'm not at home.. hahaha got sm nfa under-18 briefing on tues. think they gonna lay down sm rules, expectations and stuff.. preparation for next year's season will begin very soon. and its gonna be tough.

freaking lost to saffc 6-0 for the last game of my season. played left mid again. we could have scored in the first 10 mins. if only we did, then the game would have been totally different.

won woodlands 1-0 today! its one more game to the end of the season.. one more goal to a milestone..

played at left midfield. was a surprise to me. though i would be playing a striker for the game. started off a lil shaky. couldnt cope with going up and down the pitch.. haha surprisingly, i took the most shots today althought i was playing at left midfield for most of the time.. 6 in total.. i think no one was even close to have more shots today. got a yellow card for a hand ball today.. this season's total so far.. 1 yellow, 1 red

mid way through second half, changed to striker.. then made a through pass for aslam to score! temasek poly connection yet again!! hahaha my uncle and his family was there to watched me play. hope i didnt disappoint them! haha

had training today. thought i was gonna be the only one in training today.. at 515, there wasnt a single soul there apart from my coach and i. then while pumping the balls, the rest came! 8 of them!

my uncle and his family came back from australia today!! coming back for bout 3 weeks.. finally get to see them all! woo!! haha

celebrated sam tong's birthday yesterday at kbox in town.. reached there then jasper called.. asked me to meet him and kelvin at taka first.. they were meeting belinda and emily.. after the two girls came, we then went to get sam presents. got her a cake. didnt really know wad emily bought for her though.

had a bbq session over at his place. invited bout 30 ppl there!! haha met up with eric then showed him the way to jasper's house. sammi tong and her fren, emily, were there. chatted at the table tennis area for a while before we had our dinner. jeric then rode his bike and came down with vincent to join us at bout 1030pm then they left at bout 12am. we then chilled out on the sofa bed, and sam tong and emily kept on poking and tickling me!! haha couldnt sleep!

kelvin and wee long went really drunk after drowning themselves with so much tiger. they kept on talking so much cock, it made my cheeks sore after laughing! haha wee long ended up sleeping on the stairs and kelvin ended up in the toilet!! hahahaha then jasper's sch mates decided to go for a morning walk at 5am! accompanied them to this near by lrt which was still in construction then saw 3 guys having a conversation. they left immediately after they saw us. guess it must be so illegal trading or stuff.. sam tong was so afraid, she hid behind me! hahaha

then continued our 'journey' and reached the t-junction. then jasper saw this scary looking red lantern hanging near some haunted house! we left straight away.. and again, sam tong's face went pale! we all then walked back to jasper's house quite fast.. haha

went to peninsular with amos today. checked out some boots he wanna get then i laid my eyes on the f50 boots.. gonna get it asap.. haha went to jalan besar stadium after that.. watched the c division soccer 3rd/4th placing.. tech whye won hong kah 2-1.. lame goals they scored.. haha yup, gotta sleep now.. need enough rest for my game tmrw against tanjong pagar.. suppose to be playing for spore at jalan besar tmrw against oman but unfortunately, got club game.. cant get released.. oh well, nvm.. it wont be the last time i'm gonna represent my nation.. i'll prove it!

played table tennis with my classmates after school today. school wasnt school man.. had lecture for 1 hour and that was all! and the best part.. lecture wasnt like lecture! haha practically chilled out and slacked the whole day.

jus finished my game against oman. lost 3-0. we were playing with a man down so it was difficult.. esp against a very organised team. i went in 10 mins into the second half. apart from missing a very good chance to score, i think i fared well today. really regretting that miss.. should have open my goal scoring account for my nation.. sighs, nvm.. i will work hard and make sure that i'll play more games for the national team.

jus got back from nfa training.. guess wad?!?! i'm in the team against oman tmrw! doubt i'll play though.. still, its already an achievement for me. yup, jus gotta give my all if i happen to play tmrw.. anyway, was an average day today.. my fren, sahairi, finished sch early. then he wanted to come to my house to slack first before training. and wad happened?? he missed called me 19 times!! hahaha really sorry dude.. was on the phone so i didnt realise.. anyway, gotta sleep now.. wish me luck for my game tmrw! gonna get my second cap! haha

FUCK! played so so badly today against jurong under-18 team. they are currently at the bottom of the table and we lost 3-0.. dunno wad happened to the team. it was a very hot day today, but still its not an excuse for playing badly.. hope things changes soon..

its been a long while since i reached home so early. tks to the rain, there was no training. really wanted to play with my team mates again. nvm, will be playing with them tmrw evening. wanted to go clubbing today with my sch mates but they decided not to go at the last minute. guess i'll just have to slack the whole day today. cant think of anything to do. haha

just got home not long ago. got back my term test results today. got 33/50 for my organic chemistry and 39.5/50 for my engineering maths. could have done better though. had a game for the national team against some division 1 team later in the evening. bloody hell.. they played like no body's business man.. tackles went flying all over the place. and now, i've got stud marks on my elbow, tks to their goalkeeper. fuck him. the game ended 0-0. was my first 'international' cap today. felt good with the national flag on the left side of my chest. had an average game today and i really hope it will be enough to get me into the first team squad for this tuesday's game against oman. cant wait for it man!

its the start of the third week of training with the national under-17 team today. had a better training. surprisingly, kinda enjoyed myself today althought my close mates were not at training. anyway, got back my 'mass and energy balance' term test results this afternoon. got 45/50 for it. it was an easy paper so yah.. haha

bought my converse canvas shoe yesterday. spent 80 bucks on it.. fucking broke now.. haha

went to town with jasper to get my shoe yesterday. then met up with kelvin at sin ming.

had training after that. did well today! (for once) haha. happy with myself, very. didnt get good dinner today though. (nfa provides dinner after every training) had longtong(satay rice), chicken.

went to city hall after that. met up with vincent, amos and anand. they were 30 mins late so i had my dinner(lousy!) while waiting. from there, we walked to lido and decided to watch catwomen at 1230am. fucking lousy movie! dun watch!!

vincent's fren then met up with us(laura-hot!) for movie after that. and i even dropped my phone in the cinema. bloody hell.. lil part of my phone chipped off..sighs.. nvm, the sign.. time to change phone! haha. took NR1 home after that. took the wrong side! then got home at 430.. wad a day..

another day at 'work'. it was already bad enough. then had this fonts problem with my blog.. wtf.. anyway, thought i did real badly during training. kinda wondering why the national football association(nfa) took me to join their training. even the sight of the gym instructor didnt help. sighs. gotta train there again tmrw evening.. missing my club team mates real real bad.. the laughter, fun, jokes. everything..
