the new year's coming!! 2 more days!
its been a fruitful year for me la, i guess.
- managed to captain smfc for the first time and lead them to winning games
- finishing top scorer for smfc
- got called up to the national team
- played my first of three international games this year
yea, but all this comes with a price la. less time to spend with my frens and all.. cant hang out that often anymore. still, im happy to be able to represent my nation. hmm.. at least all my efforts are not wasted. :)
i dun understand channel 5. they say they're not gonna show the nation's countdown and replace it with another show due to the tsunami disaster. seriously, what has it gotta do with tsunami?!? i do feel for the ppl who perish during the disaster and their family but i think there's no logic to this.

had training at clementi stadium.
was suppose to use the field after our runs la. but the groundsman said that the field is closed for the next month. so ended up doing only runs!!
1km in 4mins. this is considered one set. we did a total of SIX sets.. yea, steam sia.. hahaha
didnt expect myself to finish all six la. was an achievement man! haha :)

MERRY X'MAS EVERYONE!
went down to town yesterday after my training at geylang. met up with the sin ming gang at heeren. then we walked from taka to far east. as usual la.. bloody crowded! they bought the spray stuff and soon enough, we all started spraying ppl.. esp chicks!! haha
we enjoyed ourselves even though we were also sprayed on. definitely one of the most enjoyable christmas la.. haha

im back after a short tour in kl. didnt see anything i like so came home empty-handed.
since we still consider ourselves as the nfa under-17 team, i should say that we played against croatia zargeb under-17 team. lost 3-1. could have drew them if not for some slack defending at corners and free kicks. i think the minimun entry height for the croatian team is 1.8m.. all of them so freaking tall and big! sm of them even look like fathers! (maybe they already are la.. haha). played 30mins of this game.
drew the malaysian national under-18 team 0-0. they are a year older than us but we were able to match them. desmond missed a great chance with the last attack of the game.. if not we would have won the causeway derby.
last game was against a malaysian national selection side. sundram fielded his reserve team(which includes me la. i played 85mins.) to give us a run-out.. lost to them 3-1. but was pleased that i won alot of freekicks and assisted the goal. only problem was i tried to turn while the defenders were closing down on me. should shield the ball instead.
thanks to macritchie, we were able to last all the games la. it was still tiring though.. enduring hard tackles and quick thinking.. a very good experience for me.. sundram said he's gonna drop players on friday. gosh, pray for me man!

had a running test at macritchie yesterday. 4.8km in 18 mins.. i did 19min 25 sec. kinda alright la considering that i just got back from training and haven been running for the last 5 days or so.
hmm anyone care for a trip to kuala lumpur this weekend??
raj told us that we will be having a kl tour from sat to mon. but only 25 out of 29 of us are going. although i dun wanna miss any more lessons, i really wanna be one of the 25 who will be boarding the bus on sat at jalan besar.
we will be playing against a croatian team and the malaysian side.

had a morning run at macritchie again. girl's route twice.. did it in 31.45mins.. improve by 15 sec! haha
when to town after that. zam wanted to get slippers but couldnt find any he like. training again in the evening.. took the same bus as choy fung to amk central.. training was at geylang field, did light work la.. suppose to have bleep test tmrw but sundram cancelled it.. hmm, he aint heartless after all.. haha
